Fenton, MO -- Maritz Learning (www.maritzlearning.com)
announced today the release of its newest version of the LIBRIX Performance
Management System. Version 4.0 enhances the software's registration
management features, expanding user enrollment and tracking functions
for "off-line" events and activities such as on-site and
satellite instructor-led courses. The new version also makes the integration
of third party content much easier and faster.
Version 4.0 of the LIBRIX Performance Management System rounds out
the capabilities of Maritz Learning's multi-use platform by extending
the system's robust functionality for the management of off-line resources
and the delivery and tracking of third party content. A leading system
in enabling online skills assessments and competency management, Maritz
Learning's system empowers training managers to manage performance
both at an individual and organizational level. As with earlier versions,
Version 4.0 provides businesses an open, scalable platform that is
SCORM and AICC compatible, ensuring interoperability with standards-based
courseware.
"As businesses increasingly embrace a blended approach to corporate
learning they are demanding solutions that integrate all components
of their learning programs under one management umbrella," commented
Brian Carlin, President of Maritz Learning. "Maritz Learning
has been designing and developing blended learning solutions for more
than three decades, so Version 4.0's enhancements are really a natural
expansion of our learning and performance management system."
Version 4.0 builds on functionality found in earlier versions of
the LIBRIX Performance Management System, which already cataloged
and tracked off-line learning activities. This new version provides
training administrators broader online management capabilities to
manage course descriptions and event profiles, instructors and their
event assignments, as well as the usage of facilities. In addition,
new registration management functions enable users to not only register
for instructor-led courses online but also put themselves on a completely
automated waiting list for popular sessions.
Because of Maritz Learning's unique experience in integrating learning
programs with corporate performance improvement initiatives, the LIBRIX
Performance Management System easily integrates functions to manage
incentives and employee motivation programs. The blending of performance
improvement with comprehensive learning programs helps drive employee
participation and ensure the learning and business objectives are
achieved. Maritz Learning's parent company, Maritz Inc., has been
a leading provider of performance improvement services for more than
70 years.
"Maritz Learning is committed to continually improving and expanding
our multi-use platform," Carlin added. "Ultimately, however,
the technology is only a means to an end. Our primary focus is on
helping our customers strategically apply this technology so they
achieve measurable individual and organizational performance improvement."
The LIBRIX Performance Management System continues to provide the
functions that helped it achieve recognition as a top system for competency
management in a recent brandon-hall.com study. The platform enables
training administrators to define job roles throughout the organization
and identify the requisite competencies for each. From this basis
administrators can develop and deliver skills assessments to measure
an individual's proficiency in each competency and produce instant
gap analysis reports that identify an individual's areas of strength,
as well as areas that need improvement. In addition, the system provides
summary reporting at the individual, group, and enterprise levels.
Administrators can use the system to prescribe targeted development
activities and create prioritized individual development plans that
both employees and managers can monitor on an on-going basis.
