Menlo Park, CA -- Crisp
Learning, a leading producer of workplace training and self-improvement
products, has announced the creation of the Crisp Academy, an innovative
program that enables organizations to develop and deliver major training
initiatives quickly, easily, and inexpensively.
"There are 20 million reasons why we say that Crisp provides
the most accessible and most effective training content," said
Mike Stacy, Vice President for Sales and Marketing. "Twenty million
Crisp books and media products have been used worldwide. Now, the
new Crisp Academy program makes it easy for any trainer or manager
to select and deliver just the right content to improve business productivity."
Once an organization initiates a Crisp Academy program, Crisp curriculum
specialists help conduct a thorough needs assessment and map key competencies.
The project team then assembles appropriate learning modules, drawing
from both the Crisp library of more than 250 training titles and from
internal company resources. "In addition to building a custom
program, we also help organizations promote and administer the program,"
adds company President Mike Crisp, "providing distribution, testing,
and tracking services --- development through delivery."
AT&T Broadband in Chicago recently piloted a Crisp Academy program
for Workplace Communication and Business Operations training. According
to Dennis Rossow, Director of Learning and Development, "Everyone
at Crisp worked in a spirit of service and flexibility. I heard 'we
can build that for you' from Crisp people at every phase of our project.
And they delivered on that promise."
All Crisp Learning content is available for a Crisp Academy program:
a comprehensive range of management, workplace skills, and personal
improvement topics. All course modules are available in book or workbook
format and many are also available as video, audio, CD-ROM, and online.
Crisp Academy courseware integrates easily with materials created
by in-house or outside developers.
"Trainers and managers trust our content," said Stacy.
"With a Crisp Academy, we can now make their learning initiatives
more successful and their lives easier. Our pilot programs have demonstrated
high completion rates, high learner satisfaction, and major cost savings."
